Friday, March 6th, 2009: Rockies Swap Strop to Red Sox for Kottaras
The Colorado Rockies have finalized a deal with the Boston Red Sox for the services of 25-year old minor league catcher George Kottaras. In exchange, the Red Sox will receive 23-year old minor league closer Pedro Strop.

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009: Boston, SP Sabathia Come to Agreement
A wave of jubilation swept over Boston today as fans and team officials celebrated the signing of C.C. Sabathia.

Despite the fact that the Boston Red Sox will have to pay out $90,000,000 over 5 years, he will certainly draw fans to the park. Let's just hope they don't crank up ticket prices!

Lifetime Sabathia has a 119-72 won-lost record with a 3.76 ERA.

Friday, December 12th, 2008: LF Adam Dunn, Boston Agree to Pact
Boston fans could barely contain their jubilation as Adam Dunn, considered one of the best at his position, opted to sign with the club.

The deal, estimated at $72,000,000 over 4 years, is seen as a masterstroke for the General Manager's office and could well go down as one of the shrewdest moves in club history.

Lifetime Dunn has hit for a .253 average and totaled 981 hits, 292 home runs and 709 RBIs.
