Saturday, March 28th, 2009: Mets Shortstop Hurt
New York (N) fans will be disappointed to learn that Jose Reyes developed back spasms while throwing the ball in today's game. After the doctor informed the New York (N) Mets manager that Reyes was expected to miss 1-2 weeks, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the shortstop could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.

Saturday, December 20th, 2008: It's Official: CL Rodriguez Signs with New York (N)
Francisco Rodriguez finds himself at the epicenter of a baseball-crazed universe by signing with New York (N). The 26-year-old inked a $62,500,000, 5-year deal today.

Fans see nothing but upside and are placing the hopes of the franchise at his feet, expecting him not to disappoint.

In his career Rodriguez has totaled 180 saves.

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008: Mets and Nationals Agree to Deal
A trade between the New York (N) Mets and the Washington Nationals was made official this morning. The New York (N) Mets have sent 32-year old catcher Brian Schneider to the Washington Nationals in exchange for nothing.

His numbers show Schneider is carrying a .245 lifetime batting average with 49 home runs and 314 RBIs.
