It was a week to remember for Jarrod Dyson. After wrapping up a torrid week at the plate, the Wilmington Blue Rocks center fielder was named the Carolina League Player of the Week.
Dyson collected 11 hits in 28 at-bats for a .393 average. He also accounted for 2 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 5 runs.
Dyson on the season is batting .250 with 5 home runs. His totals include 44 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has played in 122 games.

Clint Everts of the Potomac Nationals whitewashed the Wilmington Blue Rocks 4-0 in a complete game win, limiting them to 4 hits while chalking up 4 strikeouts and giving up 1 walk.
"Talking to SION writers after the game, his manager said, "He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys. Clint is pretty poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff."
