Sunday, August 10th, 2008: 5-5 Day for Gutierrez
It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Tonys Gutierrez -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at BellSouth Ballpark and paced the Lookouts to a 6-4 win over the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx.

After his dynamite batting performance the Chattanooga first baseman told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book.

T. Gutierrez hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and doubled in the 12th.

For the year Gutierrez is batting .311 with 108 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 42 times and driven in 48.
