Monday, September 1st, 2008: Super Swinger Snags SL Player of the Week
The Southern League has made it official -- Dan Conway is this week's winner of the Player of the Week Award.

The Chattanooga catcher was sensational with a .524 batting average, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. Conway also had 4 walks and posted a .600 on-base percentage.

This season Conway is batting .268 with 15 home runs. His totals include 63 RBIs and 54 runs scored.

Monday, August 25th, 2008: SL Star of the Week Honored
Adam Rosales burst onto the Southern League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie shortstop for Chattanooga garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy.

The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .455 (10-22) with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs last week.

Currently Rosales is batting .209 with 4 home runs and 39 RBIs.

Monday, August 11th, 2008: Gutierrez Takes This Week's Trophy
23-year-old first baseman Tonys Gutierrez of the Chattanooga Lookouts is the talk of the Southern League for putting on a torrid hitting display last week and claiming the Player of the Week Award.

Gutierrez rapped out a sensational .571 batting average with 12 hits in 21 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 RBIs.

For 2008 Gutierrez is hitting .311 with 6 home runs. His stats include 48 RBIs and 42 runs scored.
