Saturday, August 23rd, 2008: Beck KO'd by Major Injury
The Salt Lake City Bees were jolted by some terrible news -- Bradley Beck's baseball career was pronounced over -- the result of a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament.

The club's GM told SION reporters, "We were all stunned by the news. Injuries are a part of the game, but you never get used to this kind of devastating news."

Season-to-date, Beck has rung up 1 save in 57 relief appearances. He has 47 strikeouts and 22 walks in 99 innings while registering a 2.27 ERA and a 12-0 won-lost record.
